Doro Sathe Upcycled swim cover ups and kaftans created from my mom's vintage sari fabrics and tailor in India!

I created Doro Sathe out of a love for saris - their bold design, uniqueness and color. I worked with my parents on this project, making this a family affair! I'm a doctor by day and excited for this creative outlet and to share my culture with you! I spent my childhood watching my mom wear the most beautiful sari fabrics to social events. I have always loved the colors, embroidery and small detai

ls that make each one unique. As she ages the saris she loved get worn less and less, so we decided they should be re-homed and loved in a novel way. We collected many of them and with the help of a family tailor in India were able to upcycle them into swim covers and kaftans so now you can love them too!
