Sew now for the holidays - what a great idea! Children love to hug these sweet dolls. Apple Cheeks Girls is a very versatile cloth doll with simple construction and adorable clothes. It's a great pattern if you're sewing a lot of gifts. I'm also posting a few pictures of Apple Cheeks girls made by other doll makers. The variations are endless and very creative. This picture is the one I used on the pattern. It's available in our WIX store and our Etsy shop.

I just got the sweetest message and I want to share it.
"I’m excited to find and join this group.
This is the first doll I made waaaay back in the 1970’s. She sucked her thumb just like my baby girl did. I treasure this picture.
I still have the pattern after all these years! I was surprised to find out that Carolee creations is still in business. And still has the baby sister pattern."

I just wanted to share this with you. This is my little sister with her purple Miss Pat that she got for Christmas when she was 4! She's 54 now! She slept with her until she was 6. I'm going to be getting the pattern later so that I can make the little outfit that she has lost. I've been using your patterns since the early 90's before the internet! Just thought you might get a kick out it! Making & selling your dolls enabled me to support my children as well as purchase my first home! I'm hoping that I'll be able to set up my sewing machine again so I can get to making these wonderful dolls! Thank you! My mother said that she had the doll made for my sister. I was 9 so don't remember much else.
