Have you always wanted to English Paper Piece but are too scared to do it on your own? This Saturday Chris will be working the shop and I may have volun-told 🤷🏼‍♀️ her to show off her amazing skills. Her secret weapon is the Acorn Easy Precision Piecing System. If you want a quick demo, just ask on Saturday! Lots of inspiration to get you started and conquer that EPP project!!

Don’t forget Halloween fabrics from KPea are $6/yd 1 yd cut minimum. Let’s see if we can empty the sale bin so Christmas fabrics can be next. 🎄🎅🏻

We are celebrating FreeSpirit Fabrics 25th anniversary at the shop! We have their specially curated 25th anniversary fat quarter bundles. Kaffe and Tula in one bundle! 🤯 We showed off the first four design rolls from 4 of their amazing fabric designers in a post last week. To celebrate this milestone FreeSpirit is holding a contest until October 30. This picture is Cindy’s submittal. She used a free pattern from FreeSpirit that they created for the contest. She used all Tula Pink fabrics to sew this purple beauty. It took her longer to pick out fabrics then cut and sew. 🫣 She just might make a few more to submit for prizes these next two weeks. If the hat fits, wear it! Sandy has her Spellbound Hat ready for the season. 🧙🏻‍♀️

The pattern has three different ways to make the hat (we made the non-quilted version). We used the Riley Blake bias binding on a roll in black and white. We also have it in black, white and orange striped. Foam (in stock-but in the back so just ask) keeps the shape.

News break: this just in!

FreeSpirit design rolls (2.5” strips) celebrating 25 years of FreeSpirit Fabrics are now for purchase at the shop! 4 designers are showcased in this month’s display. Any guesses to who they are? Grab a friend and each purchase your favorite and do a quilt race. Lisa, Laura, Sandy and Cindy did one two years ago and had a blast! Any guesses on who won? 😉

We moved Frank and Friends to the front of the shop to welcome you into the shop this past week. We were also able to squeeze in our fall fabric bolts for those looking for something not spooky. There is a stuffed mummy to be made from a panel and a beautiful fall panel to coordinate with the fall yardage.

Don’t forget we are closed on Tuesdays now that the shop hop is over.

Hour changes this Thursday and next Thursday! We will be closing at 4pm instead of 8pm on 10/8 and 10/15.
