As I continue to grow my business, one challenge I’ve encountered is a lack of communication or “ghosting” during the ordering process.
I completely understand that life happens — things come up, schedules get busy, and sometimes messages or deadlines are unintentionally overlooked. I experience those moments myself. While I do my best to respond as quickly as possible, I’ve also had to create healthy boundaries regarding after-hours communication, family time, and personal time.
That being said, I make every effort to maintain clear and consistent communication with my customers. I follow up multiple times to ensure we are aligned on the vision for an order, confirm receipt of invoices, and keep the process moving smoothly. I believe mutual communication and respect are important in any professional relationship.
I also understand that circumstances can change. Finances may shift, priorities may change, or a faster turnaround time may be needed. I have always been transparent about my timelines and processes from the beginning.
Moving forward, I kindly ask that if you are no longer interested in proceeding with an order, or are unable to respond regarding next steps, please communicate that. Unpaid orders cannot be held indefinitely, and consistent communication is necessary for me to properly manage my time, workflow, and business operations.
