Every now and then I get special requests from friends for projects that they need a hand with. The first was a custom cushion cover that needed to be washable and durable (and cute!). I’m no seamstress, but mission accomplished! The second was a bit more sentimental. A family friend had a box full of her mom’s clown outfits from years of her “clowning around” for birthday parties and special events. All of the colors and patterns made for a special keepsake for the family to have. Both projects were fun to tackle!

Simmer Sacks - these things smell wonderful!

Add contents (allspice, cloves, star anise, cinnamon sticks, fresh cranberries and a clementine) to a sauce pot with a couple cups of water and simmer. Cut/slice/zest the clementine for more citrus notes.

$3 each. Would make a great hostess gift, stocking stuffer or boss/teacher gift. Let me know if you need multiples!
