I’m loving this from I’m choosing to burn less sage and use hydrosols instead, which is such a sweet way to clear energy and stimulate the senses. Frankincense is ancestral medicine for me too, so it feels like a better way to connect with and decolonize my magic.

My dream couch in my dream house! I got to spend the weekend in an architectural gem of a home in La Jolla. Architect built this “Lotus House” on the edge of a canyon in the late 1970s- early 80s. The furniture, textiles and lighting was amazing but the home itself is a giant spiral of curved wood and gorgeous tile and cement work. I love the colors and shapes of this leather couch with the textured wool pillows.

Art is such an important element in a therapeutic space. I often gaze at art in a healing space as a source of inspiration and guidance. I'm so joyful to hang this by who was a shop customer in Oakland. I adore her and her work. She is a who presents a magical, fecund and vibrantly vital and cosmic view of our world. Check out her recent 3D painted sculptures inside vintage compacts! As for me, I'm currently training to be an therapist and have an office/studio in Encinitas. A little project with the talented and fabulous who moved from San Francisco to Berlin a few years ago. She is continuing to create extraordinary choreography in Europe, as she did in The Bay where we began working together over a decade ago. Though I’m developing other avenues of creative expression these days, as an in training, I love the opportunity to revisit my design career. This print is super fun to play with and it connects my and realms beautifully.

Feeling nostalgic today. I miss the joy of helping people find that brings pleasure in their expression of self. I just listened to an interview with about her book and this is one way to claim pleasure in our bodies and celebrate ourselves. I’m so grateful for the years of our retail store. So many amazing vintage pieces are sitting in bins in the storage space. I hope to bring them out again soon so they can find the bodies that will activate them!
