Wahoo! “Best of Show” win for the “Three Peas in a Pod” girls. I think I can speak for all three of us (Marilyn Lidstrom Larson, Karen Boe and myself that we r thrilled with our showing at the Fargo Quilt Show this weekend. We worked long and hard creating this gem. From the initial design conception to the choice of fabrics and soooo many ideas tossed around the table to the final stitch in the binding it was a labor of friendship. Marilyn with her ability to make numbers work, Barb drawing and conceptualizing the applique designs, Karen and Marilyn with their expertise at needle turning the applique pieces and piecework and finally Barb at the quilting machine designing the threadwork that would showcase the designs it was a fabulous journey. What a ride “Triple Treat” has been for us….and to think this is most likely her last showing before she is retired from traveling is well,😔. But onward we go! Next up our collaboration titled “Carousel for Three”. Marilyn, wish you could have joined us in Fargo!

It isnt everyday a long arm quilter get this many stars and smiley faces and hearts and rainbows for a quilting job on her granddaughters class quilt! 😍
