Due to us having very full schedules Mike and I have made the decision that we will no longer be doing picture framing. We have loved framing for over 20 years but it never became what we had hoped it would be. We have been blessed to do many projects for many people and the Lord always used our talents to bless our home when we really needed a blessing. Unfortunately since the pandemic prices have gone up so much that it truly costs more than most people want to spend.

Thank you for allowing us to play a part in creating and preserving your memories. Have a blessed 2026.

This is an old picture but bears and pillows are just a few of the things that I have been working on lately.

If you have an item that belonged to a loved one I am sure we can turn it into a keepsake.

Questions I often get when people are inquiring about keepsake items.

Q: How many shirts does it take? A: that depends on the size of shirt. Typically it is one shirt per bear unless the shirts are big.

Q: I only have sweatshirts can you use that? A: I can use any type of material because I will use stabilizer with your material. I have used dress shirts to thin knit pajamas to a 40 year old wedding dress to make bears.

Q:Can you do a pillow and a bear. A: if you want both then you can most likely do a small bear and a rectangular pillow.

Q: Do you only do bears? A: No I can make almost any type of stuffed animal that you wish. Ex. Dog, cat, elephant, giraffe etc. I just have to be able to adapt a pattern.

So if you are wanting a special Christmas present this year schedule your appointment now. After the holidays I’ll post updated pictures of some items I’ve done recently. My favorite has been the family wedding dress that became two bears, a pillow, and a lap quilt.

This is what you call mobile seamstress. I’m out at the hotel sewing on rockers and patches for the Grand National Quail Hunt.

I might have sewn on a patch or two lately. I am beyond thankful to have been able to do these patches. Everyone of them helps a small business out so much.

Please know if you support a local small business it not only helps them but puts money back into your local economy.
