This short brim beauty definitely has the old school Classic Fedora look. I made this one from a 95g pure beaver felt in Oyster color with Old serpent brown binding and trimmings ( hand stitched ). The naked sheep leather sweatband and burgundy liner really pops against the Oyster Green beaver felt.

I really enjoyed my time in multiple cities and locations of Arizona this week. I’ve had some fantastic conversations with some hat lovers and future clients, in addition to being inspired by some really old classic hats on display and by some local favorites. I’ll be rolling out a Doc Holiday inspired hat for a really cool young man upon my return to the Appalachian Mountains of Northeast Tennessee. Thank you to everyone for following my page and supporting my passion of hat making. I’d like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas!

This is a late 25th birthday gift for my youngest son in Texas. It’s a Pecan color 100x beaver felt with a hand sewn Sudan ribbon binding and leather & horsehair band. It features a 3” custom shaped brim and crown. This hat has the classic Fedora crown look with a small brim western feel, the perfect combo.

“Back in Black” Jim Reece Custom Bowler hat.. This is a custom Bowler with a 5.5” crown, 2” curled brim with a hand stitched binding and hand stitched sweatband on a black pure beaver felt. I really enjoyed this build and look forward to the next one.

I just finished this beautiful handmade custom Fedora in a Black Cherry felt with Desert Sand ribbon and custom bow. It features a 5.5” crown height with a 2.5” curved brim with a hand stitched binding.

Breaking bad with “ Heisenberg” !!!!
This pork pie style hat is a true classic that was brought back to life with the tv series “ Breaking Bad”… it features a 4.5” pork pie crown height and a 2” curved brim with a hand stitched binding. I made this one for myself but I’ll be starting another pork pie tomorrow for a professional magician, Mr. Danny Baker.. Stay tuned to see Danny’s one of a kind pork pie hat in a week or so. My buddy wanted a Fedora with an aged look, featuring a 2” curved brim with hand stitched binding, custom center crown dent, no side dents with leather barbed wire and leather band. The hat was to simulate the style of hat his grandfather wore with a slight tilt on the head. I had a blast making this one !! Thanks Jerry for letting me have a go at this bad boy!! You rock this lid brother!!

Julia Maggard doing what she does so well and looking sharp with her Jim Reece Custom Hat. We decided to brand her hummingbird on the bottom side of the brim so her audience could see it while on stage…. Mission accomplished!!! Keep your eyes on this young super talent !!
