Big Labor Day Sale happening at the Estes Park Mountain Shop this weekend!!

Save at least 25% off STOREWIDE! There's lots of products that are 25% off already, and those items be 50% off starting Friday, September 4 until Monday, September 7.

The elk rut is happening, so come by and check our binocular section. We also just got some new running gear in from Craft and CROCS hit the shelf today. A fresh batch of EPMS hats is on the floor, and don't forget The North Face's recently received selection of men's closeout deals. Check out VSSL, our newest coffee cup and brewing system. Our sock selections from Darn Tough and Smartwool have just been filled in, and our fishing and biking departments just got a bunch of new accessories as well.

We've recently been gifted yet another very generous donation from Avery's Light! We are thrilled to announce that we now have a bike trailer/stroller from WIKE. This is an XL bike trailer/stroller combo that can hold a person with disabilities weighing up to 200 pounds! This is the newest addition to our mobility program here at The Estes Park Mountain Shop.⁠

Just like the rest of our mobility equipment, this trailer will be complimentary along with an electric bike to pull it around the Lake Estes and Fish Creek bike trail. Biking around Estes Park is a great way to soak up the scenery and allow yourself and your child to get some fresh mountain air. There's still plenty of time to get outside with your loved ones this fall and experience the beauty of Estes Park. ⁠

Tomorrow, August 25, is the last free day of the summer. National Park Week is the ultimate celebration of America's natural and cultural heritage. It takes place starting tomorrow, August 22 through August 30, with a special nationwide fee-free entrance day for U.S. citizens and residents on August 25 to mark the National Park Service's 110th birthday.

The theme for this year's weeklong celebration is "Celebrate America's Story," tying directly into the 250th anniversary of American independence. During this time, the country's 433 National Park sites will be hosting special patriotic programs, guided tours, and family-friendly activities.

Attention Mountain Bikers! A brand new downhill mountain bike park has recently opened here in Colorado. If you're looking for a fun day trip from Estes Park, in just under 2 hours you can take the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway to Idaho Springs and take a ride up The Mighty Argo Cable Car. The summit (Miners Point) features a mountaintop basecamp with bars, a speakeasy, a concert venue, and access to over 20 miles of hiking and downhill mountain biking trails. We have full suspension mountain bikes here at the shop for rent, along with bike racks if you need. Unlimited all-day passes range from $49.95-$65.
