I had a special treat this afternoon when the closest living relatives to our Founder Mattie Clay Johnson were able to stop by to see their “Auntie’s” Store. I was happy to welcome Liz Murtaugh Gillespie from Seattle and Her Brother Frank Murtaugh III from Memphis to Etowah. We shared a few stories about our remembrances of a very special Lady and they even made a purchase. The hour seemed like five minutes! Thank you Liz and Frank for taking time to visit!! We continue to stand on the shoulders of your Great Aunt ( as well as my own Father and Mother Yale and Monreda Webb) as we try to continue their proud tradition of quality and service!
