Working on an heirloom quilt made of polyester clothing. It does not have batting but it is really warm. I know this because I was hot with it on my lap.

This is my winter hand sewing project and I got a head start tonight. A special thanks to the owner Teresa Jones Bledsoe for entrusting me with the quilt.

Made for Elijah born last week. Minky is a new option available. It costs more but I highly recommend for backing as it’s so soft and cuddly. This quilt is minky on both sides!

I am teaching four Thursday nights of sewing for some amazing Girl Scouts in Bartlesville. They learned how to clean, thread their machine and wind a bobbin. They practiced for a while to hone their new skills then they made pillowcases!
