Today marks Lammas/Lughnasadh, a traditional first-harvest celebration observed around August 1. 🌾
Historically, this seasonal turning point honored the beginning of the grain harvest, the labor that made it possible, and the nourishment it provided. Bread, grain, feasting, games and community gatherings all became part of its traditions.
For many modern spiritual practitioners, it is also a time to pause and recognize what has already grown—not just materially, but within ourselves.
Your harvest might be a new skill, a stronger boundary, a relationship, healing, personal growth or simply finding the courage to begin again.
Take a moment today to ask:
🌾 What have I grown this year?
🌾 What am I grateful for?
🌾 What still needs my attention and care?
What are you harvesting in your life right now?
