While digging through my trying to use up old stock, I discovered I still had 2 colors of these beautiful cotton Ikat florals…Ikat designs are printed on the threads of a warped loom before the fabric is woven. Then a solid color weft is woven through, blurring the design, giving it a washed-out nostalgic look. This particular design is the “Asana Blouse” (with side slits) and is headed to South Main Creative in Little Rock next week. It’s a size Small, but can be made again in another size or in the green version, shown.

Last week I told you I was listing some new items on the new “Made in Eureka Springs” website. My plan was to use up some smaller quantities of vintage prints, which would make the garments One-of-a-Kind…and several sold out before they even hit the air waves. Hi Friends!
I haven't shown you much lately because everything I've been sewing has been custom order and gets shipped out right away. I do have a few fun One-of-a-Kind items cut out and plan to share them with you as soon as they are made. It doesn't make a lot of sense to put them on my website, since I can usually only make one...HOWEVER-

Some friends of mine have put together a new website featuring art of all mediums produced solely in Eureka Springs. I've joined their ranks and have a page of items listed there (and this week I'm the site's featured artist). Though the items I show there are custom order, it has occurred to me the simplicity of the site would allow me to show One-Offs, and easily take them down as they sell.

So, if you'd like to be in Regalia's "fast lane" for OOAK garments, please take a look at www.madeineurekasprings.com. You might even wish to follow them here on Facebook and see all the great items this town produces. Eureka really is still a hub of Arkansas Art!

Most of you who follow Regalia already know about my website when you want to order clothing from a distance. Now Regalia is part of a new website devoted to showing & selling art made solely by Eurekans. It’s “Made in Eureka Springs”, and it launched today! You can browse pottery, paintings, jewelry, musical instruments, and of course- Regalia. It doesn’t contain as much of my clothing as my regular site, but it shows a wider selection of what our town has to offer!

If you visited my rack lately, you may have noticed it was a little…picked over. I borrowed all my inventory for the annual White Street Art Walk in but the event is over, and the clothes are back on the rack! Even more exciting news- there are a dozen or so more new garments, never seen in the big city! Get on down, the rack is full again!

Here’s a not-so-small sampling of what I will be offering at the 35th Annual White Street Studio Walk on Friday the 15th. Lots of new caftans in addition to my regular line of linen designs. Steve Beacham of Spring Street Pottery will be out front, having a special Retirement sale, so stop by and see us. 16 White Street, 4 to 9pm.

It’s Kantha Quilt madness! I managed to get 2 garments out of each quilt, so this is the last….until I find another good quilt. The “Trapeze Jacket”, an old favorite. Size Small.

After saying I would not add any new designs to the repertoire, I made the Kantha Quilt jacket a couple weeks ago, size Large. My friend Mary saw the post and asked me to make one for her with a quilt she had, but I first had to draft the pattern down to a Small for her…then, to make sure the pattern was correct before cutting her quilt, I made one out of a piece of Cashmere from a trip to Paris for her to try on as a mock-up. I think you can guess what happened next….
