Well friends… Vickie and I have sold our last bar of soap, and boxed up the last pillow sham. It’s time to say our final goodbye. We are leaving the way we came in. If you haven’t heard the story, it all started on the back of a houseboat with margaritas or wine coolers in hand (we can’t remember which). Today in camp-chairs with beers in hand we toasted our 21+ years of retail. Not bad for an eight year business plan. 😉 We know some of you are sad because things keep changing in Eureka, but change is good. It means there is life! Only dead things don’t change. We plan on growing and creating and blossoming quite a bit yet! We are sad to leave our customers and our charming Old Town. We had a great run and we’re leaving with a bang at the end of an extra bustling holiday and New Year. Eureka is really coming alive, but it is time for us to venture off to new endeavors and to welcome new energy and vibrancy to our corner. If you don’t know "Land of Lovely" yet, you soon will, and you will be pleased. So keep an eye out for her grand opening! Vickie and I are Humboldt grown girls, so we’ll see you out and about. If not, just know we are toasting you, cheers to all our customers who became our friends and Linen Closet family! Salute'!
