How do brides choose just ONE wedding dress?! 🫣🤍

We’re planning our very first styled shoot for Missouri Gown Preservation, and obviously one of the most important decisions is finding the perfect dress to bring the whole vision together!

A huge thank you to Mia Grace Bridal for such a fun experience and for letting us try on their absolutely beautiful gowns. ✨

Now we need your help! We narrowed it down to a few favorites and want to know which one YOU would choose.

There’s something romantic about a dirty wedding dress. 🤍

The muddy hems, makeup marks, spilled drinks, and dance floor grime are all little pieces of evidence that you wore the dress, lived in it, and had an REALLY good time doing it!

And maybe that’s why we get WAY too excited when a delightfully dirty dress comes through our doors.

These three have some very good stories to tell.

Now it’s our turn to get them beautifully clean and preserved. ✨ Stay tuned for the afters!

The details shouldn’t stop after the wedding day. ✨

You spent months choosing the little things that made your wedding feel like yours, from the florals and stationery to the monogram woven throughout your day.

We can bring those same details into your preservation by digitizing your wedding details.

Because someday when you open your dress again, those little details will bring you right back. 🤍

Evaluating your dress from EVERY angle. 👀

Beach wedding gowns are some of the most satisfying to clean because sand, dirt, drinks, body oils, and who knows what else get worked into layer after layer of the skirt.

And yes, this is me on the floor documenting every inch of it before she heads off for cleaning. 😂 That thorough initial inspection is part of how we make sure every stain and area of concern gets the attention it needs.

She came to us delightfully dirty after a wedding on the beach and left beautifully clean, pressed, and preserved for decades to come. ✨

Go have the beach wedding. Get the dress dirty. We’ll take care of the evidence. 😉

The dress before the wedding. The dress after the wedding. And the dress after we get our hands on it.✨

Your wedding dress is meant to be WORN. Dance all night, drag that train across the dance floor, get the makeup on it, spill the champagne, and make the memories… Then bring her to us ;)

We’ll thoughly clean away the evidence of a wedding day well lived, give her a beautiful final press, and carefully preserve her with layers of archival tissue inside our muslin-lined, cardboard-free preservation box.

Life’s too short to not jump in puddles. ☔️🤍

Have the champagne. Dance in the rain. Take the epic photos.

Some of our favorite gowns belong to brides who fully embraced anything that blew their way on the wedding day and made the memory anyway.

Go make the memory. We’ll handle the dirt later. 😉

Most brides are told “don’t open your preservation box!”

We do the opposite.

When your gown is finished, we walk you through everything at your pickup appointment… just like this.

How to open it
How to check your dress
How to refresh it
How to put it all back together

Because your gown isn’t meant to be locked away forever. It’s meant to be preserved and understood.

Nothing about it should feel like a mystery… and you should be able to actually see your gown, confirm it was beautifully cleaned, and know everything actually made it inside.

You’ll also notice little details like:
• foam bust cups stored separately to prevent yellowing
• multiple breathable, acid-free layers that keep your gown stable long-term
• cotton gloves included so you can safely handle it

And yes, you always have access to your dress.

The only rule is:
if it comes out and is worn, it just needs to be professionally cleaned before going back in.

It’s a completely different experience than traditional “seal it and forget it” preservation.

And once you see it… it just makes sense.

Give the gift of preservation. 🤍

Gift certificates are now available to add to your registry or to purchase for a bride.

You can choose a set dollar amount toward her gown cleaning and preservation, or if you know her bridal look, we can customize a gift to cover her full preservation.

It’s one of the most meaningful gifts you can give… something she’ll open, revisit, and treasure for years to come.

Call or email us to set this up and give a gift that lasts well beyond the wedding day.

Yellowed sequins all over your mom’s dress? Here’s how to prevent it on yours.

This is a result of ✨oxidation✨

Over time, fabrics and embellishments react with oxygen, light, heat, and environmental pollutants. When a gown is stored in less-than-favorable places like garages, attics, or damp basements, paired with poor storage containers like plastic bags or a cardboard preservation box that can acidify over time, that process speeds up quickly.

Add in leftover residues from never being cleaned or poor cleaning like sweat, body oils, and sugar from drinks, and you have the perfect recipe for long-term damage.

We can often improve oxidation on fabrics like satin and lace.

But sequins? Not so forgiving.

Many are made from materials that degrade over time, and once they yellow or break down, it is usually permanent.

The good news is this is largely preventable!

Getting your gown properly cleaned soon after the wedding and storing it in stable, cardboard-free archival materials, in a controlled indoor environment, makes all the difference in how it will look decades from now.

✨ Take care of it now so it still looks beautiful for years to come.
