MY BETTER DAD STORY ⛳️
As a father of three who travels for work, being present in my kids’ lives has always been important to me.
Between work, practices, games, family time, and trying to find time for myself, life gets busy. Golf became my escape. A way to slow everything down, clear my head, and enjoy a few hours with my buddies or by myself.
But a few years ago, that changed.
I started bringing my oldest son golfing when he was just four years old. Watching him putt around on the greens and getting that one-on-one time with him was something special.
That’s when I made a conscious decision. Golf wasn’t just going to be my escape anymore. It was going to be something our family could share.
Today, all five of us hit the course together at least once a month. Sometimes it’s a family round, sometimes it’s one-on-one time with one of my boys or my daughter, and sometimes it’s a golf date with my wife.
Golf became more than a game. It became a way to create memories, have conversations, teach lessons, and slow life down.
Four years later, we had this crazy idea. What if we started a golf company built around exactly that?
And that’s how Tatted Dad Golf was born.
We didn’t start this company because I’m some incredible golfer. Trust me, I’m an okay golfer at best.
We started it because we wanted to build something bigger than golf apparel. A brand that represents fatherhood, family, and making memories. A community of people who understand that the time spent together matters more than the score on the card.
That’s what Better Dad. Okay Golfer. means to me.
I’m not trying to raise professional golfers. I’m trying to raise good humans who will one day look back and remember the time we spent together.
Golf started as my escape. Today, it’s something that has brought my family closer together and inspired us to build a company around it.
