The new and improved #106 Men's Winter Parka Patterns in sizes 36-54 are now available at alaskanpatterns.com. These patterns offer more sizes and styles to choose from such as additional pockets, facing, an internal storm flap and sleeve tabs. They've been hand drafted and graded, as well as digitized in Alaska for a total of 22 pieces. Look for the Made in Alaska logo on the new Ladies and Men's Winter Parka Patterns.

The #106 Men's Winter Parka Patterns in sizes (36-54) are completed and are currently in production. They will be available in two weeks at alaskanpatterns.com. My brother, who is 6'2" is modeling these styles in a size 44.

The parka was made with the new Ladies Alaskan Winter Parka Pattern and the kuspuk was made with the Ladies Summer Kuspuk Pattern by Alaskan Patterns. I welcome others to share their unique creations they made with the Alaskan Patterns!

ALASKAN HAT WORKSHOP
Learn how to make a cloth/fur Trapper's Hat or Sourdough Hat.

This in-person hands on class will be offered in Fairbanks, Alaska. Space is limited. Only 3 openings available. The class begins January 19th and will be offered on Fridays from 3-5pm. If interested in signing up please email Michelle at [email protected].

Trapper's Hat & Sourdough Hat patterns can be purchased at alaskanpatterns.com, as well as a variety of stores in Alaska.

Happy New Year! I'm excited to announce that two new patterns will be released this year. The #106 Men's Winter Parka Pattern and the #107 Children's Winter Parka Pattern. Followed by some Parka workshops and classes.

A local Alaskan Hat workshop will be offered in Fairbanks, Alaska on January 19th from 3-5pm. Learn how to make a Trapper's Hat or a Sourdough Hat. Space is limited. More information on this class will be included in a separate post.
