As our fall sale approaches and we have more new faces around here, it feels like the perfect time to introduce myself. 💕

I’m Kim, the owner of Rhea Lana’s of Falls Church. I started Rhea Lana’s with a dream that was born in the middle of heartbreak, healing, and a whole lot of change. After finding success at the YMCA in Oklahoma City, I felt a strong pull to bring something meaningful to Northern Virginia when my family moved here in 2022.

My Rhea Lana’s story actually started years before that. When I was pregnant with my first child, I was introduced to Rhea Lana’s. I shopped, consigned, and even worked at the sale, and I quickly fell in love with the experience. As an eco-conscious mom, I love being able to find quality items for my children at great prices while giving gently loved things a new home. ♻️

That experience stayed with me, and when the opportunity came to bring Rhea Lana’s to the DMV, it felt like the perfect way to combine so many things I care about: community, sustainability, motherhood, and helping families get the most out of what they already have. 💚

By day, I’m the Association Director of Wellness for YMCA of Metro Washington. I’m also a mom to two children and one very spoiled boxer fur baby. 🐾 I’ve run a successful photography business, taught Zumba for over 10 years, and I’m a proud Oklahoma girl who will always be cheering on my beloved OU Sooners. ❤️🏈

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me hiking, practicing yoga, reading, tending to my houseplants, making sensory bins for my littles, cooking, or editing photos of my kids. And yes, I’m still making pumpkin bread all year long and treating myself to far too many Starbucks Strawberry Acai Refreshers. 🎃🍓

💫 My goal for Rhea Lana’s of Falls Church is simple: I want every family who shops and consigns with us to feel supported, seen, and connected. I’m so grateful to be on this journey and to have the opportunity to bring the Rhea Lana’s experience I loved so much as a mom to the DMV.
