Myth: Resellers are ruining thrift stores. My donation today happened to coincide with a thrift store loading a truck with excess inventory. A good reminder that most thrift stores receive far more donations than they can put on the sales floor.

I’m not great at making successful stitches, so I’m uploading my response to Lainy’s dollarmom_shop (Lainy) question instead 😅 Here’s one of my biggest reselling mistakes… and it was caught on camera. Cold items become more brittle. If you bring glass, ceramics, or other fragile items in from a cold garage, attic, storage unit, or porch, give them time to come to room temperature before handling, cleaning, or packing them. Trust me on this one. 💥
