UpLaced UpLaced: Recycled and Upcycled Small Goods The UpLaced story is a mix of magic, chaos, and love of the game. My solution was to use their old hockey laces.

My boys play hockey and I wanted to make something useful that they would have to remember their experiences on the ice. My first hockey designs were pillows out of the boys' old hockey jerseys but the open v-neck of the jersey presented a problem. The simple solution to fill in the missing material on a pillow cover took on a life of its own when I discovered that I could make material out of lac

es, and with this material create small goods. Pillow covers led to wallets, card holders, key fobs, zip pouches and more! As a busy mom, and hockey supporter my creations have found their way to many charity events, as well as end-of-season gifts for teams-and now here! I hope that they bring as much enjoyment to each person who uses them as I have creating them.
