You know the exquisite designs...the signature column gowns, dramatic puffed sleeves, embellished belts, and the elegance that made a Dora Adams gown instantly recognizable.

My friend Kressy Cromer Waugh recently brought her stunning Dora Adams original into Westdale Vintage, and we’re honored to have it on display in the shop. These gowns were part of so many special memories, pageants, proms, and milestone moments across our community.

I’m going to be starting a series on Dora Adams and her incredible designs, celebrating the woman behind some of Fayetteville’s most memorable fashions.
