We launched the women’s version of Rejoice & Do Good ! It’s going to be a brand inspired around the Proverbs 31 woman.

I’ll be sharing my journey as I learn how to be a mom and a homemaker. Some things I’m planning to learn include; sewing my own clothes, preserving food, cooking, cleaning, homeschooling and everything else that comes with homemaking!

It’ll be raw and show the failures and successes while giving tips on what I learn. I’m also going to do a podcast with other women talking about this subject (but that’ll be after I give birth to baby 2).

Hi guys! 🥰

It’s been a while and I wanted to update you on where we’ve been and why we paused the coffee shop for now.

We’re having another baby girl! 🥹🥳 We’re so excited to have two little girls so close in age (Haley is just about to turn 1 and baby 2 will arrive in Aug).

When Haley was born I also lost my marketing director job and haven’t been working since so we went down to one income and now two babies. Daycare is INSANELY expensive and to be honest, I don’t want to be away from my babies so we took a financial hit. With that means we can’t invest in the coffee shop juuuust yet, especially because there’s not a big margin in the coffee shop business.

Zach is on his way to become a lawyer in 4 more years so we decided to wait until he finishes school. That way he will also have time to be a part of this business which for us is more of a ministry. We actually don’t want to rely on it to make our income but instead we’ll measure the success of the business by how much we can bless others.

In the meantime, I’m launching a website template business at TheMorningLoft.com where I can take my marketing skills and create website templates that help businesses convert their audience into customers. I’ve been loving working on creative websites and the flexibility it gives me in terms of time.

This pregnancy has also been very challenging with me getting whooping cough (going on day 53 of coughing) which led to me cracking both my ribs. 😫 Now I can’t take care of Haley since it hurts to pick her up annnd she ended up getting whooping cough too which was absolutely terrible and scary. Poor baby has been coughing and throwing up every night and struggling. Please keep our family in your prayers during this season.

I’m so thankful for all of you that have been keeping up with our journey and believing in us. We’re trusting that God closed the door for a reason and things are ALWAYS better in His timing. ❤️

Love getting to know our local community! 🥰

For those of you that are new to our channel let me share what it used to be.

Before Rejoice & Do Good (coed) it used to be Grace Belle - a women community based around 4 personas/interests; the Creative, the Adventurer, the Sweetheart, and the Entrepreneur.

We had content and events around those topics and it brought together a of women.

The community was by far my favorite part of that brand and putting together creative events.

Being at this retreat brought back those memories and it was so sweet to see a community forming here in our new state!

Niki teaches you how to move your body in order to prevent pain and how to fix your back/knee/shoulder/etc pain. It was cool to learn about functional movement! I had no idea that even existed 🤯

Episode 3 of our "365 Days to Opening a Christian Coffee Shop" is out!

In this episode we're exploring 3 different building options for our coffee shop. The first is buying land and building from scratch, the second buying land with an old building and remodeling and the last is leasing.

In our video we share about the three options, our thoughts on them and show you some properties we toured for each of these options.
