Nomura Toy produced these in the 1960s and they have become expensive collectables today. The bartender could light up and shake the mixer.
Found this one at a local antique shop - it was only $12 and I was considering getting him but my creepy doll collection is sort of getting out of control 😅 so I left him.

Hawaiian Leaf Snack Set is a vintage gem from The Federal Glass Company, which was based in Columbus, Ohio and operated from 1900 until the late 1970s.

These snack sets were pretty popular in the 1950s-60s. Coming together with the box though is really what makes it special. You may be more familiar with Anchor Hocking snack sets - this is the first Federal Glass I’ve spotted in the wild. I love the box design. This particular style and branding (Hawaiian leaf, florals) reflects the mid-century fascination with tropical and atomic-age aesthetics.

I did not purchase - as they are very hard to ship safely. And I already have an AH one at home still waiting to sell.

Care Bears are one of those timeless toys that have survived through by! Which Gen is your favorite? This is my current stash - all are available on eBay. I grab them anytime I see them so I’ve always got a healthy rotating stock.
