A sewing machine prepares you to drive by developing your motor control, spatial awareness, and multitasking. Both skills require you to operate a foot pedal to control speed, coordinate your hands to steer, and maintain focus on a forward-moving point to stay in control. Text Debbie for her sewing class. Operated by Bridge Community Church, the Hearts & Hands Clothing Center is dedicated to helping neighbors through affordable clothing, generosity, and compassionate service. More than just a clothing center, it is a place where community members come together to support one another and lend a helping hand when it is needed most.

From everyday essentials to seasonal clothing, Hearts & Hands helps make quality clothing accessible while creating a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through the door.

A special shout-out also goes to Church Cat, the clothing center's beloved resident and unofficial ambassador. 🐾 Known by many visitors, Church Cat serves as the center's friendly greeter and purr-fect helper, always ready to welcome guests with a little extra charm.

Thank you to the volunteers, supporters, and members of The Bridge who continue to serve our community with open hearts and helping hands. Your commitment to caring for others helps strengthen the fabric of Federalsburg and demonstrates the power of faith in action.
