A year ago, a customer purchased the little "man" sitting on a bench, shown in the lower left corner of this pic. His "wife" was supposed to be part of the three piece set, but she'd gone missing in the case. A few days later, we found her, but we had no way to contact our customer. A year later, they returned to Ferndale for a visit and stopped in at the shop. Our customer immediately recognized the little missing figurine, and we were all THRILLED to have everyone reunited.

Spring is here, and the Winter Break is over. Starting April 1 we'll be back to our "regular" opening hours of 11:00am to 4:00pm, Friday through Monday. If you are in Ferndale, please stop in and visit us!

Just put out a collection of Aesthetic Style ceramics...and some old Blue Willow. Most of this china was manufactured in the late 19th century in England. The Aesthetic Style was at it's peak in the 1870's-1880's.

Wine barrel ring hearts, handmade in Ferndale, now in a new "tiny" size. Large hearts are made from a full wine barrel ring. Small hearts are made from half a wine barrel ring. The new tiny hearts are made from a quarter of a wine barrel ring. Small and tiny hearts are closed with a rivet that is handmade from antique copper wire. Your choice, any size, $10.00 plus tax.

Christmas in June! Here is a sample of the Victorian style ornaments Sharon has been making. Materials used include anaglypta wallpaper, vintage paper doilies, scrap pictures printed in Germany, gold dresden trims, "silk" fringe, vintage postcards, and reproduced postcards.

We are now opening Friday through Monday, 11am to 4pm. We often stay open later than 4pm if there are people interested in visiting the shop late in the day. We can usually open earlier or later, or on other days of the week if anyone wants to make arrangements with us.
