Maybe it’s pregnancy. Maybe it’s just me getting older. 😂 But I’m sitting here at Chick-fil-A, Inc. watching my kids play, and I’m getting a little teary-eyed.
I’m so incredibly grateful for these 4.5 amazing children I get to call mine. I get to watch them grow, love them through every season, and help guide them as they’re molded in God’s image. And sometimes, in the middle of the everyday chaos, it hits me just how incredibly blessed I am.
This year feels different. My three oldest will all be in school, and I’m excited for them, But I’m also nervous.
I pray they’re treated with kindness. I pray they have good friends. I pray they’re brave enough to stand up for what’s right. And most of all, I pray they treat others with the same kindness and love I hope they receive.
summer ending always feels a little bittersweet. It feels like closing a chapter of the best book I’ve ever read. A chapter filled with late nights, messy kitchens, swimming, baseball, little voices calling “Mom,” and more chaos than I could ever put into words.
And I know there are so many more beautiful chapters ahead.
I just wish, for a minute, I could slow this one down. Dusty Camareno
