G’m y’all & Happy Saturday! ☀️
Random thought that’s been on my mind for years… 🤔
Some may know that I have Temporal Triangular Alopecia, which affects the center of my crown. I’ve seen a dermatologist, gone through multiple rounds of scalp injections (definitely not fun 😩), tried medicated topical treatments, and just about every product you can think of. I spent a lot of 💴 on products always hoping and praying for new growth.
While I do get some hair in that area, it’s still very thin.
All of that has made me realize I get bored with my hair because I feel limited in what I can do. I’ve already said goodbye to perms and bleach, and lately I’ve been seriously thinking about getting micro sister locs. 🤔
I know the beginning stages will take some patience and getting used to, but I think it might be time to try something different and just DO IT! ✅
If you have micro sister locs, I’d love to hear your experience! Do you love them? Any advice or things you wish you knew before getting them? And if you know an amazing loctician, please point me in the right direction! I’d truly appreciate your recommendations. 💕
