There's still some holiday yarn left in the shop, including a few skeins of Winterberry dyed up on my mohair silk lace base! Speckled mohair seems to be less common than tonal, but I just love seeing how fluff turns speckles into watercolors 😍

I've just finished adding a very limited run of holiday yarn to the shop, including some Fun, Old-Fashioned Family Christmas Sock Sets inspired by National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation!

As some of you know, I'm moving pretty slow this holiday season due to the fact that I'm pregnant and having some complications with my hip that make it very difficult to dye and photograph currently, but I wanted to get some holiday yarn listed and ready to go even if it's later than I'd like. I also have a good amount of leftover trunk show yarn to list, so keep an eye out for updates as I work through my backlog! Slowly but surely 😅

I've just added a few holiday items to the shop, including these brand new additions - needle stoppers! I am working on adding some non-yarny goods and have a lot more things in the works, but for now consider adding these squishy little pops of holiday cheer to your knitting projects. Meet Estuarine Dreams, a new aquatic-themed colorway available on a couple of bases now! I have already caked up a different colorway to make a Summer Secret Crop by Jessie Maed, but I'm already thinking I'm going to set aside a skein of this for a second one 😍

This is one of those colorways that was kind of unplanned. I started with an idea that was in a different direction but made a mistake in measuring dye for the first layer. I just went with it and was so pleasantly surprised with how much I loved how this turned out!

It's a super gloomy and rainy week here in Virginia, so I'm living my best swamp thing life and hunkering down to work on my Athame, a super cool hooded infinity scarf pattern designed by Jen of .stitchin.witch .

I often find myself looking for patterns with techniques that are new to me in order to hold my attention, and this one definitely fits the bill! Although I consider myself an advanced knitter, I am still pretty inexperienced in the realm of colorwork. This pattern not only has faux intarsia, but also two color brioche, both of which are new to me, so it's been such a fun knit as a result!

I've knit mine in my own yarn - the main color is Quid Pro Crow, a deep black colorway, and the variegated contrast color is Late, In Love, and a Little Drunk. Both are on my DK base, which has resulted in such a soft and squishy knit. I'm in the home stretch now and can't wait to get this finished up and blocked!

And the shop is fully restocked! Including this new tonal colorway, My Favorite Mustard (shown here on my 75/25 merino nylon base). Why yes, that is a My Favorite Murder pun. And yes, about half the time I type its name I put Murder instead of Mustard by accident. Any other murderinos out there? I binged it for the longest time then stopped so I'm now criminally behind (ha!), but it is still one of my favorite podcasts to this day.

Just listed a bunch of DK yarn! I love this base so much. It's super soft and plump, and it takes dye like a dream. It's shown here in Quid Pro Crow, my deep black colorway with a corvid pun name, twisted together with Late, In Love, and a Little Drunk. I'm currently using this combo on a WIP that I should finally finish here soon and actually photograph for y'all to see (gasp!). Stay tuned!

A couple of skeins of Bergamot, Buckskin, and Lace, my colorway inspired by the Matt Heckler song "Midnight Sun," are available on my 75/25 BFL nylon base. This is the colorway I used for my version of the Summer Court Tank by Trystan Molina of Dragon Hoard Designs (shown here), though on my merino nylon base instead. I believe I only have these plus a few skeins on my DK base (I haven't gotten to the DK skeins yet but they're coming!). Do you think I should dye up a full restock sometime soon?
