**Relaunch (of sorts)**
For the page and Instagram, like the 2nd Death Star.
After injuries last year I spent time in physical therapy (and off social media) and have been slowly building back up.
When the pandemic hit, I worked round the clock supporting medical teams in COVID hotels
[side note: not actually a Sith, that's just play and alliteration, sorry] π
and during peak hours in May I knitted this sweater while working on-call shifts and worked so many I also finished it in May. π
This was my but won't be the last. A lot changed during shelter-in-place, like my desire to knit functional garments for my apocalypse bunker more than cosplay accessories. At least for now, when I need a new sweater.
So, as I'm able to wind down work (and wind up some yarn overs), I'll post more but I'm not doing orders at this time. Now is a time for self care, and maybe an alpaca, because it looks like we might be here awhile.
Stay safe out there, wear a mask - like Vader - and may the force be with you, always.
Pattern is Waiting for Spring by Susan Dempsey; my sweater is Waiting for Shelter-in-Place to End.
Yarn is Scholar 2.0 by that I got at Stitches West back in Feb. GOD remember FEB? 1,000 years ago and also the last large event I attended.
