On December 5, 1933, the 21st Amendment was ratified, as announced in this proclamation from President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The 21st Amendment repealed the 18th Amendment of January 16, 1919, ending the increasingly unpopular nationwide prohibition of alcohol.

I’m super excited for the holiday / end of prohibition anniversary market this Sunday at Samuel Adams Boston Brewery. I’m going to be wearing my finest 1920’s styled threads and hopefully others will too 🍸🥃 I hope to see some friendly faces. There are going to be some really talented artisans and makers along side me. This will be my last market event of 2021 - let’s go out with a bang!
