Fabric Haul! I utilized hobby lobby sale to stock up on some fabric for my holiday bow collection.

And don’t worry I know I can’t use licensed characters for bows I’m going to sale. The character patterns are for gifts ❤️

What fabric was your favorite??

Saw a tutorial for this on YouTube years ago, and it’s been my go to baby shower gift ever since!

Creating the pattern is going to be the hardest part, but once you have that you can whip these out so fast!

These are my new favorite rings to hang my bows, previously I was using keychain rings. They worked great, but I love the look and how durable these rings are. I’ll link them in my comments!

Exploring a new city for the weekend and immediately made a u-turn when I saw the word “fabrics” 😂

I went in with no expectations and I was blown away. The had an awesome selection, the staff was super friendly. I wish I had more time.

I could have spent A LOT of money in here, sadly I only walked out with a couple yards.

I love sewing pillowcases as a beginner project with my nieces and this burrito method is my favorite!

Make sure to screenshot these measurements

The cuff- 9”x40”
The trim- 2”x40”
The main fabric- 27”x40”

Also the French Seam, sounds difficult but I promise it’s not that hard! The first seam, make sure to have the wrong sides together and sew all around the pillowcase using a 1/4 inch seam allowance.

Clip the corners, flip it inside out and then use a 1/2 inch seam allowance. This traps the unfinished edges so there are no loose threads on the inside!

Let me know if you have any questions, and happy sewing!!
