We’re a collective of 50+ artists, makers, and vintage curators. It’s literally in the name: The Groovy Collective, not Collection, by the way! 🧡🪩

And this is a little reminder about kindness while shopping small, wherever you shop.

Small businesses work hard to balance fair prices with paying their artists, makers, employees, and the costs of keeping their doors open. We know everything feels expensive, we feel it, too.

You don’t have to love everything a shop carries, and you don’t have to buy anything. It’s completely okay for something to be outside your budget or simply not your taste. But there’s a difference between deciding something isn’t for you and loudly putting down someone’s work, prices, or shop.

Comments like “I could make that myself” or “I can get it cheaper on Amazon” can dismiss the time, creativity, and effort behind what’s being offered. There are real people behind the products and behind the counter.

I share these posts to advocate for small businesses, because these experiences are shared by so many of us, and these conversations matter.

Questions are welcome. Kindness and respect go a long way. Thank you for shopping small and local.

Here are the new shop hours! A schedule that’s a little easier to remember, with expanded hours:

Wednesday–Saturday: 11–6
Sunday: 11–4
Monday–Tuesday: Closed

Google is always updated, and you can always call me to verify, or to yell at me. Either way. 😂

Hours may be added or adjusted closer to the holiday season. Happy shopping!
