This beautiful bride looked gorgeous on her special day! Unfortunately the journey there was not. COVID hit, rules on gatherings were enforced, and her wedding dress became a nightmare.

She picked and ordered this dress along with her bridesmaid dresses from a "reputable" and very "famous" bridal boutique, therefore quality & professionalism was automatically expected. This dress almost fit her perfectly so the alterations requested were only 1: Hem raised just enough for her shoes to peek. 2: Bustle for the train 3:Thread & bead touch ups 4: Stain removal.

What she received:
1. Seams on both the white fabric underneath and the lace fabric above cut uneven and chopped.
2. Both fabrics were not sown all the way across and had holes where you could fit your hand through them.
3. Length nowhere near where she requested (too long).
4. The bustle had 3 buttons placed completely uneven and without any thread or ribbon loop to attach with.
5. Stain was still on the inside of the dress and no beading touch ups.

To top it off the boutique and management was indifferent, uncooperative, and offered no other option but forcing her to "trust" them again so they could "attempt to fix" what they had done. They refused to reimburse her for the $200+ dollars they charged to mess up her dress as well as replace/change it with one in good condition.

Luckily she had designer Ana Astaiza work on it and miraculously fixed this dress like nothing had happened. Ana also fixed:

1. The bust/strapless area as the bride lost weight.
2. Added all the missing beads and Pearls.
3. Added the rhinestone bust belt.
4. Changed the bustle.
5. Cut evenly, fixed the seam and hem length at the bottom.

She was able to make this dress look brand new and fit the way this beautiful bride wished for. Like nothing had happened!!

**NOTE** Bridesmaid dress shown on the picture also received a service of hemming and brooche replacement.

Ana has always enjoyed making and designing wedding dresses as well as making alterations to special pieces including party dresses, bridesmaids dresses, prom dresses etc.
