It’s been a while since I’ve posted. It’s time to liquidate my stock to make room for new things, and to help finance my husband’s care. Today through the end of summer (7.15 to 9.23), the following items will be $10 while supplies last:

After quite a long hiatus due to family health issues, I am gearing up for an event next month! Pink In The Park by Pink Alabama celebrates breast cancer warriors and honors the memories of those who didn’t make it. Join me and other survivors on October 9 !

Things have been quite topsy turvy for our family this year. Sad to say I will be taking a vending hiatus, but caregiver duties are more important than vending. There are some things I’ve been working on for a dear child who recently moved from the beaches of Florida to her daddy’s home town. Here’s a sneak peek.

Left to right:
1) a pair of Beanstalk Britches in a funky corduroy from 2006 or so. These are a size Large Skinny, and I hope she can get a bit of wear from these!
2) Pink long sleeved tee that was upcycled from a Ladies XL tee shirt. I was able to incorporate the original hem from the tee in this shirt and the sleeves. Not perfect, but it will keep this sweet baby warm.
3) This hooded onesie is another upcycled project. It used to be a Jr. M half-zip hoodie. I cut the hood from the original lined hood, incorporated the zipper placket, and cut the sleeves in a way that retained the original sleeve binding. The snaps are wrong, but she won’t care.

Beanstalk Britches and HOODsie are discontinued patterns from Stitch Upon a Time and the tee is self drafted.

I’m in the midst of a major craft and sewing supply purge and so much stuff is going. I will be posting items for sale here on this post, so follow along if you are local to the shoals area and need a cheap craft fix.
