Pang Tao (Flat Peaches): Eight Fairies Festival Vintage Chinese/English Book

This is an early 20th century Chinese book with hand-painted illustrations that depicts traditional Chinese legends. The book has accordion pages with walnut wood covers. A Chinese character is carved into front board and painted green. Contains 10 hand painted watercolors on linen. Opposite pages show text in English & Chinese. No listing of publisher but evidently part of a series produced about 1930.
