Teaching them young about the importance of hard work, commitment, and determination. ❤️
Teaching them how to interact with the public, how to have confidence in themselves and what they're doing, and how to believe in their own path—even when it goes against the norm. Like choosing to sell colorful, handmade tie-dyes in a society dominated by cheap, fast fashion. 🌈
We're also teaching them that when we all work together as a team, like a family, we ALL take care of each other. And when we're fortunate enough to have a little extra, we can pass that kindness along to others in our own small ways—whether that's through gifted tie-dyes, skateboards, wax and candles, or the school-supply giveaways we do. ❤️
I feel that doing these markets, doing this business, and doing it with the kids, is going to teach them so much that I didnt learn until later in life. I am so very grateful to be able to have the opportunity to do these things with them.
We had such a great day yesterday hanging with the kiddos (2 out of 4 kids at least), and putting in the hard work for another successful farmers market!
Thank you to everyone who came out and grabbed some colorful threads from us. We appreciate every single one of you more than you know! 🌈✌️
Here's to teaching the next generation that hard work matters, kindness matters, community matters, and that it's okay to be different. ❤️
