Understanding Your Measuring Chart

Measurements matter! Whether you’re applying HTV, aligning a DTF transfer, placing rhinestones, or creating custom apparel, knowing how to read a ruler can save time, reduce mistakes, and help you achieve professional-looking results.

✨ That’s why I wanted to share this measuring chart as a quick reference tool for our crafting community!

Helpful Measurement Tips:
✔️ The smallest lines on most rulers represent 1/16 inch
✔️ Two 1/16” marks equal 1/8 inch
✔️ Four 1/16” marks equal 1/4 inch
✔️ Eight 1/16” marks equal 1/2 inch
✔️ Twelve 1/16” marks equal 3/4 inch
✔️ Sixteen 1/16” marks equal 1 full inch

🎨 Why this matters for crafting:
• Accurate design placement on shirts
• Proper logo alignment
• Consistent spacing between elements
• Better centering of transfers
• Professional-looking finished products
• Less wasted material and fewer reprints
