The rough emeralds in the first photo eventually became the tiny hand-carved butterflies in the second, before I set them into rings and necklaces here in my Colorado studio.

Watching them transform from rough crystal into finished jewelry has been one of my favorite parts of this collection.

I spend so much time thinking about ring stacks that I sometimes forget how much fun it is to stack earrings.

These ruby huggers with the raw rose quartz studs have been one of my favorite combinations lately. The ruby is rich and saturated, the rose quartz is pale and quiet, and together they somehow make each other even prettier.
