Oh hey what's up?

Here's what's going on this season: events, project status updates, incoming products, and upcoming campaigns!

Starting with: where are you?

This list includes all the confirmed conventions I have for the rest of this year! I may end up in a couple more in December, but I'm still waiting to hear from those.
.. and when are you?

Famous Animals of Science 3.0 are currently wrapping production. These pins will be available for preorder from November 1-14, just two short weeks! Once Backerkit rewards are fulfilled, the remaining pins, stickers, charms, and patches will be listed on my website and my Etsy! They are looking awesome so far.

What's next?

Coming November 18th exclusively to Backerkit: the Vipi Ink Holiday Market! If you are looking for my bi-annual sale it will still be happening on my website from November 18-30. This Holiday Market will feature exclusive holiday bundles of pin sets, matching series, and gift sets including mystery boxes! Follow the Backerkit pre-launch page here to get a bonus mystery gift with your pledge. (https://www.backerkit.com/c/projects/vipi-ink/vipi-ink-holiday-market/pre-launch?ref=sqFallEmail)

Finally, where are you going?

I have been traveling all over the country doing conventions this year and many people have asked if I have a Patreon, and now I do! It's a bit empty at the moment, but I'll be posting my research notes and sketches here in-between specific projects.

I'm so glad to hear people are interested in the academic side of my work! I hope you'll follow me down the rabbit holes I dive into. Maybe in the future I'll even make a sticker club or other monthly reward there...

Thank you, as always, for your support! It's just me doing all this. Every social media post, email, design, campaign, research note, and order are touched by my hands with PROUDLY ZERO USE OF AI so I always appreciate you bearing with me as I navigate all these things!

⚠️ BEWARE! CAUTION! WARNING! This caution tape will cause light energy absorbance and re-emission! Also referred to as "phosphorescence", or glow in the dark. ✨

Did you know it's the same kind of phosphorescence used in glow in the dark stars you'd put around the room as a kid? 💫 Did you ALSO know those stars would eventually be the result of patent 3,832,556 filed by inventor Rebecca Schroeder when she was just 10 years old for her "Glow Sheet" invention, a sheet of paper with phosphorescent lines to allow easier writing in dim light? 🌙 TL;DR you wear this pin all day and it'll still look cool in the dark. 🌟

💜 Just can't wait for the final reveal tomorrow? ☁️ Check it out via my 🔗 and get that preorder pricing! 🖱️

💾 What kind of converter could even transfer a pc digital glitch to cassette analog format?! 🎞️ This unique variant is the ONLY one launching in rainbow metal, giving the tape a unique finish on every individual pin. 🌈 The printed glitch effect goes over a 'blue screen of death' hue with subtle pearlescent glitter, adding to the distortion effect. 💫 Find the rest of the designs LIVE at my 🔗 now! ✨

🔊 Flip your mix for the B-Sides! 🎧

🎶 Choose your favorite hidden gems and secret tracks, then write them on this pin! 🎚️ Put together the daring mix that record labels and radio stations could never imagine. 💫 The glittery transparent enamel fill and cool colors make this pin pop! (or maybe rock, hip-hop, jazz, edm... in this house we love all genres--house included!) ✨

Catch you on the flip-side, visit my 🔗 for the remaining variants! ⚠️

🔊 It would be UNHEARD OF to start with anything other than Side A! 🎧

🎶 With screen printed details in retro colors and plenty of space to write in your track list, this pin is ready to play! 🎚️ This transparent fill in a dark warm tone, nearly black, is reminiscent of the tapes we had when I was growing up, so of course I'm a little biased to it. 💫 Find the rest of the designs LIVE at my 🔗 now! ✨

‼️ Also, I fixed a typo in the listing for these pins, they will be 3.75 inches (95mm), NOT 2.5 inches (64mm). 📐 Did you have a specific color or style of tapes in your collection? 🎛️
