July in Iowa means long days, open skies, and more sun than most of the country sees all summer. It's also UV Safety Month and out here, between the county fair and outdoor events to just enjoying life, your eyes are outside right along with you.

UV rays are invisible, but the damage they do over time is very real. Cataracts and macular degeneration are two of the most common reasons people lose vision as they age - and UV exposure is a major contributing factor. A great pair of UV-protective lenses is one of the simplest, most effective things you can do for your long-term eye health. Come see us this July! โ˜€๏ธ
