Do you ever wonder what it would be like to have your own store? 💭
This past month we celebrated our 1 year birthday at the store 🥳 and with that came many questions…
And just as much reflection upon the past year! 🙃
💗Do you get good business?
💗Are you enjoying it?
💗Is it everything you hoped?
💗Does the magical feeling wear off?
Yikes. 😆
The truth is, I have to create that magical feeling.
Every day! 🙌
Sometimes it’s a lot of trial & error.
I have a great idea & it falls flat.
I have big dreams & sometimes bigger barriers.
It doesn’t always come together how I envision.
And often takes twice as long as I plan for. 🤦♀️
So I try again- after failure. Because really what’s the alternative?
And that’s just like with everything in life. 🫶
One of the most challenging parts is finding strength and resilience in our valleys.
We don’t always get to rest at the bottom of the hill.
And really, that’s not where we want to hang out, anyways.
So we touch our lows & bounce up!
And that’s exactly what small business is! Sometimes it’s the big stuff, & sometimes it’s the littlest wins that make the biggest differences. 💞
And so thank you! I’m so grateful for all of our customers & the continued support from such a wonderful community of friends!
And I mean that.
I know sometimes I don’t get to everyone, & I’m forgetful & not always at 💯 but I do genuinely care about every person who walks through our doors and it makes me happy to know you thought to shop at Perfect Fitz. You always make my valleys short & sweet! 🥰
Oh & let me just say. It does come together!
I love the moments of making someone happy through finding something they’re confident in! I love when ladies come in with their girl groups, their besties & their families. Solo shoppers?! Let me help you! 💞😆 I love to be your dose of retail therapy! Even if it’s just for a quick moment to chat and see pretty things— it doesn’t go unnoticed that you chose me!
I appreciate that.
This store was really just a dream not so long ago. ☺️After RD closed, I craved something more personal to me.
Something I could put my name on (quite literally) and make it totally my own vibe and style…
And that’s exactly what Perfect Fitz has been.
Let me admit though, the amount of fear + anxiety that accompanies the decision-making-process is overwhelming at times.
What if my customers don’t like what I pick?! 🙈
I would never ever take it personally!
But, also… Gotta pay those bills. 💰
So… fingers crossed. 🤞😆
Again, a big thank you for always rocking right along with me and keeping my valleys only a place to visit & not a place to live! 💞
