I am Stacey Felton, the owner and designer at Felton Hat Co. as a hobby after developing a passion for designing custom hats. A few years ago, I attended my first Hat Bar and was seriously hooked! I quickly developed a passion that needed funding (trying hard not to call it an addiction, but i

t’s questionable 🤔). Fast forward to the creation of Felton Hat Co. and I was off booking events and sourcing materials. From cowboy hats and rancher hats to pork pie hats, fedoras, and a variety of straw hats for both men and women; I started sourcing hats and accessories from a variety of suppliers. With a friend I brought on for a short time, we started booking Hat Bars at breweries and wineries all over Southwest Florida. It was a lot of fun and very rewarding, but then we remembered we are almost 40 and Florida gets unholy levels of hot for that much hard labor 🥵. Over the those last two years, every dollar Felton Hat Co. made went into sourcing more hats and their embellishments to find our best selling hats and favorite accessories to embellish them with. I searched for fabrics, feathers, charms, hat pins, brooches, vintage matchbooks, playing cards, dried and faux flowers, and other natural elements like porcupine quills, arrow heads, gemstones, and the list goes on (maybe too long, hence my unnecessarily large collection of tassels 😂). I also set up what I coined The Felton Hat Co. Hat Lab – my work area for designing, experimenting with, and building hats. I’m willing to try just about anything you dream up on a hat, so sometimes there’s a practice hat and sometimes the hat just burns up and there’s no hat! 💀😄

I’m married to the world’s most helpful husband, Dustin, who puts up with my overactive imagination and is always there to save the day when I’ve overcommitted my time. I am also a mom to two amazing, adorable, hilarious little boys, Grayson (6) and Ryder (4). Boy mom life is the life! A wild one at that! One of the things I have recently realized I love most about Felton Hat Co. is that I can be flexible with choosing my commitments to make sure I have as much time to enjoy these years as possible. I am looking forward to growing my business and making the most unique hats! Thank you for all the love and support! Let’s make a hat together soon!
