Pink Ribbon is owned and operated by Bev Ramsey, a two time breast cancer survivor. Bev had a lumpectomy in 2003 and chose no treatment. In 2006 she had a reoccurrence and chose a bilateral mastectomy as opposed to a unilateral. She didn’t want the chance it would return in the other breast. She had 8 chemo treatments and 25 radiation treatment. On the twentieth radiation treatment she noticed swe
lling and found out she had lymphedema in her right arm and hand. That was not good considering her profession, at the time, was accounting and management. She has learned to manage the lymphedema but she will tell you it definitely is a challenge!
