Hello everyone this is what I've been doing lately. I had a buddy that I met some thirty years ago contact me wanting to know if I would make him a Bowie knife that would fit his holster yes a big gun holster. I said I would and after a few pictures back and forth I got an idea of what I thought he wanted. This is what I came up with The blade is 8 1/2 inches long 3/16 thick and 2 inches wide. The brass guard is 1 inch by 3 1/2 inches there is a 5/8 bolt though the handle that is pinned with a 1/4 stainless pin and then silver soldered. Then some spacers and a piece of African Black wood then some more spacers then to top it off an Elk crown
