variations on a theme. a little party trick i picked up from David Coleman. i used to think the only way to make an ice job look trippy was to give the dye a lot of room to travel.

my batch bins are not quite maxxed-out, but i have been busy the past 3 days and i’ve got about 25 new items (and 65 new scrunchies) ready to wash out starting tomorrow. here’s a look at them during the stage when they still feel like my babies. ; when i feel like i’m caring for them, so they can become their best selves in the world. once i wash them out, it’s hard to describe what happens, but that feeling changes.😆

Meanwhile, you asked for it, you got it! girls dresses are here, and i need to figure out how to dye them. As you can see, i’ve got two styles, in sizes 6-12.

Please contribute design and/or colorway suggestions in the comments. (i have tons of different colors so be as obscure as you like)

I have a bunch of adult shirts and dresses ready for an ice-dye session, so it may be Sept. 5 before these start appearing on the racks at the YLNI Farmers Market. stay tuned!
