Our Roots
Grassroots Baby started as a dream of Stephanie & Matt Smith. They both have a passion for parenting, sustainability, and small business. Brainstorming how to put those ideals together while fitting their busy lifestyle is how Grassroots Baby was started. From taking up a little space in Stephanie's purse as she hand delivered Baltic amber necklaces to parents around Fort Wayne to filling their spare bedroom in between trade shows, pop ups, and online orders. Then finally settling into a physical storefront in March 2016 Grassroots Baby now is poised to grow again, into a new, bigger location!
Lenora is our assistant manager and keeps our store looking fabulous. She does an amazing job keeping us all organized and our displays looking fresh. She is so full of knowledge when it comes to cloth diaper fits and knowing the store inside and out.
