A Keepsake Should Never Come With a Price on Love. 🕊️💙
When you lose someone you love, you quickly realize that the smallest things become the most precious. A photograph. A piece of clothing. The sound of their name. Something you can hold when your arms can no longer hold them.
And sometimes, all you want is something tangible to remind you that they were here. That they mattered. That their life was beautiful and their memory deserves to live on.
I know what it feels like to long for just one more moment. One more hug. One more chance to hear their voice.And because I know that pain, I could never look at another grieving heart and see an opportunity for profit.
I would never charge someone to have a piece of their loved one.
Grief is already expensive enough. It costs us sleepless nights, countless tears, birthdays that will never feel the same, and a lifetime of learning how to live with someone missing.
The last thing a grieving heart should have to worry about is whether they can afford something that brings them comfort.
When I create a keepsake for someone who has lost a loved one, I don't see a product. I see a mother who misses her child. A father who longs for one more hug. A family trying to hold on to the memories of someone they would give anything to see again.
It is an honor to create something that reminds their family that their loved one will never be forgotten.
If something I create brings even one moment of comfort to a grieving heart, if it brings a smile through the tears, or gives someone something to hold when they are missing their person, then I have received something far more valuable than money. I have been allowed to be a small part of keeping someone's memory alive.
I know that no keepsake can ever replace the person we lost. No picture can give us another hug. No memorial can bring back the sound of their laughter.But sometimes, having something to hold makes the weight of missing them just a little easier to carry.
And that is why I do what I do.
Not for recognition.
Not for profit.
Not for anything in return.
Because I understand what it means to love someone beyond their last breath.
Their name deserves to be spoken. Their story deserves to be told. Their memory deserves to be honored. And if I can help another family do that, even in the smallest way, I consider it a privilege.
Because love doesn't end when a life does.
Keeping someone's memory alive should never depend on what their family can afford.
You don't create keepsakes to make money from someone's loss. You create them because you know what it feels like to lose someone you would give everything to have back.
Every time I help someone honor their loved one, I am reminded that although we cannot bring them back, we can make sure the world never forgets that they were here.
That they were loved.
That they mattered.
And that they always will. 💙🕊️
