re:Finery Creative isn't just about sewing. It also encompasses the other work I love: writing fiction and teaching creative writing. In August, I'll be scaling back fitting appointments I return to the classroom at our homeschool co-op.

Anny's delicate lace wedding gown needed a few bodice adjustments, so I took up the center front mesh insert and shortened the straps. To smooth the rough underside of the beaded straps, I hand-stitched a lining of hem tape that matched the dress lining.

Last week I shared detail photos of the hem of this lovely charmeuse bridesmaid dress. Here is the full dress. In addition to the hem, I adjusted the the shoulders for a better bodice fit.
This dress came from AZAZIE , a company that, in my experience, consistently produces bridesmaid dresses that are easy to alter, run true-to-size, and use quality fabrics.
