Shuttle tatting is a Victorian art form that involves using a shuttle to tie hundreds of tiny knots in thread to create intricate lace designs. I have loved tatting for over 10 years, but got tired of making endless doilies and motifs with no purpose other than the occasional Christmas ornament. One day, I realized that the motifs I was creating would make lovely pendants and that is when I starte

d tatting with a purpose. I love to create lace, but I love even more creating wearable lace! As time went on, I realized that my creative interests went further than lace. I rekindled my love of sewing and have been making handbags now for several years. I have loved creating beautiful and functional accessories for a number of years.
